Houston’s biggest poker club opens its doors Monday, May 11th at high noon, but coronavirus will change a few rules of the game.

All players, even if they are already members, will get their temperatures checked.  Don’t worry. All the employees and anyone else coming in the door have to play by the same rules.

Face coverings are required to play. Instead of offering ten player games, tables will be limited to just six members.

Prime Social says it will operate at 25 percent capacity until they feel it’s safer. To give the place a deep cleaning every night, Prime will suspend the 24 hours a day schedule and close the doors from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. every day.

And those Prime poker chips? Even they will be sanitized.

“It’s time to get back to Houston’s favorite game,” says Brent Pollack, General Manager at Prime Social. “We want to be safe, but we are glad to get back to the fun.”
